Mistress Joyen is a multi-talented model and performer, renowned as a pioneer of Burlesque in the Philippines. She envisioned creating a signature 2025 calendar to sell to her audience but struggled to define a cohesive creative direction. To solve this, we guided her through a discovery process to explore her background and personal interests.
This led us to the concept of Tides of the Blood Moon, a Japanese-inspired aesthetic that perfectly suits her personality and market. We incorporated brush stroke elements derived from Shodō, traditional Japanese calligraphy.

Additionally, we designed unique posters for her classes, using typography and imagery that highlight her body form to showcase the specific techniques she teaches. Mistress Joyen was satisfied with the outcome.
